It is not without reason that our company proudly bears the name of its founder. In 1997 , Jo Herbots founded his own meat wholesaler, and he takes quality very seriously. The company was located in the slaughterhouse of Sint-Truiden for more than 20 years and his name is now known to every quality butcher at home and abroad. Our wholesale meat is the reference when it comes to beef, lamb and veal .
Jo Herbots supplies retailers , butchers and supermarkets , and is in full evolution and growth. Thanks to the strong development, Jo built a completely new company building in 2018, also in Sint-Truiden. No fewer than ninety people are now working here and ten of its own trucks are ready every day to drive through the country and provide customers with an extensive range of meat of the very best quality.
Quality is Jo Herbots' number one priority. He knows all his domestic cattle breeders personally and visits them regularly to check whether the animals live in the right conditions and receive the best food, which enables them to deliver the best meat. In addition, tracing is also of the utmost importance.

Delivering top-quality meat to the end customer is Jo Herbots' top priority. Foreign meat is also strictly controlled, only the best is good enough. In addition to beef and veal, Jo Herbots also has an extensive range of pork, lamb and poultry. Beef is nevertheless the company's core business, with Haspengouw Beef as the standout. This is our own label that we are particularly proud of, and that is why it is only available through Jo Herbots.
